Galvanising radiators: an exceptional process
Adding zinc or galvanising is a process which involves the use of electrolysis to apply zinc to steel, in extremely fine layers. The addition of zinc is a highly effective way to protect your radiator against rust and corrosion. The zinc layer also guarantees a beautiful, glossy coating on the metal radiator. This effect will be retained due to passivation. This makes the surface of your radiator less susceptible to oxidation and ensures the glossy finish lasts and lasts. At the end of the process, the galvanised radiators are painted and finished with a powder coating.
Galvanised radiators; handy in the bathroom!
Brugman radiators are all de-greased, covered in phosphate, cataphoretically coated and then given a powder coating in standard RAL 9016, an epoxy-polyester powder coating in off-white; the designs are also available in other colours. Brugman’s collection also contains a few galvanised models. As a result of the galvanisation process, the radiators are especially suited for damp spaces. This could include bathrooms and the laundry room.
