Radiator covers? Just choose a stylish radiator

Fed up with your radiators or maybe they no longer match your interior? Do you want to try and cover them up or make them look better? In most cases, that’s not the best idea because radiator covers or renovations tend to reduce the heat output efficiency. Find out what you need to avoid here. Don’t: paint your radiator

Painted radiators rarely look nice because it is really difficult to apply the paint evenly. You must also remove the original paint first, and then paint them again. The various paint layers then lead to less efficient heating.

Don't: use a cover to hide your radiator

You probably already know that you shouldn't place furniture in front of your radiator or hide them behind heavy curtains. The heat is then prevented from spreading out effectively. For the same reason, we advise you against building a unit around your radiator, even one with openings or channels. You will lose a great deal of energy because the heat will not spread out from the radiator. Moreover, good air circulation is vital to heat the space effectively and economically.
