More and more people are looking for sustainable heating and for very good reason. One of the ways to do this is to choose a heat pump. This draws energy from the environment i.e. the air, soil or water. And you can, of course, connect Brugman radiators to a heat pump. We'll tell you how.
Connecting old radiators to a heat pump
There are two types of heat pump: most work with a low supply temperature, but there are also high temperature heat pumps. This latter variety is ideal if your radiators are a little older. This type of high temperature pump can also be used to heat your sanitary water.
Combining new radiators with a heat pump
Heat pumps that work with a low temperature are the ideal match for top quality radiators. All Brugman radiators are suitable for low temperature heating and can be easily combined with a heat pump. Note: the lower the supply temperature of the heat pump, the greater the radiator's surface area must be. That is why Brugman pays particular attention to the design and form of these radiators.
Combining a heat pump with radiators and underfloor heating?
Underfloor heating also works using low temperatures, so this type of heating is perfect for combining with a heat pump. You can also opt for a mix: underfloor heating in areas that are used often and radiators in rooms that you don't use as much. So, you can install the heating system you need in each room!
